The Prayers

There was this thing that happened just a moment ago. A person who’s praying for something that he wants. With some supporting signs, as well! But in the end, he didn’t get it. An unanswered prayer, some may say. A false hope, some others may say. Another lesson of life, I say. And a tough one, if I may add.

But that raise a question. So what is prayer? And what is its answer? And asking those questions, I remembered these verses.

The Omniscient God

Dear God,

You are amazing. Absolutely astounding.

You know that I’ve just had another experience in which knowing a lot can be very painful. The lingering feeling… of wanting to do something for the person I loved, of wanting to say something, of wanting to give a hug, or maybe just a tap on the shoulder. Really, when waiting seems to be the hardest thing to do. But it is the only thing I can do, in fact the only thing I should do.

 

The Fun

Okay… Have fun yesterday. Reading in the morning. Cooking in the (supposedly) noon. Photo-hunting by myself in the afternoon. Jamming (and recording) in the late afternoon. Board-gaming in the night. Late supper in the night since I didn’t have my dinner (realized it only like… this morning. That was why I was hungry. And that’s why they were talking about it. I thought it’s kinda strange and not in place. But in the reality I was the one who was strange. =.=).

Today, presentation design in the morning, preparing KTB, reading a book again, cooking again. And I think the fun is not over just yet.

Thanks God, for giving me the ability to have fun, and the people whom I get it from and share it with. =)

PS: Now that we have a recording room ourselves, I guess the rate of posting is gonna be even worse here. Just saying. XD.

Oh and btw, suaranya ‘si orang batak’? Mengutip kata2 seseorang, “Emang dasar karunianya…” *ngakak*
